The National Institute of Corrections originally developed this. We have updated most of that material and added much of our own. The RES model utilizes a collaborative approach and six specific competencies to improve Peer skills, employment placement, retention, and advancement.

Once this training is done, a trainee will have the knowledge and skillsets to go into the community and partner with local employers. Creating a direct track for employment for people who are justice involved. The trainee will be able to assess someone's job readiness and help them better prepare for any additional skills needed prior to employment. (12 CEU's)
